I am TerryAnn T. Odle-Delice, an attorney, entrepreneur and business consultant helping small and growing businesses build stronger foundations, protect what they’ve built and prepare for what’s next.
I am an attorney who understands that building a business is about more than the law. A strong business needs more than registration documents and contracts. It needs a foundation that supports the business you are actually trying to build, relationships that can withstand growth, protection against the risks that come with doing business and a plan for what happens when things change.
I am naturally someone who likes to understand how things work, what holds them together, where the gaps are and what could happen if one piece fails. That way of thinking has followed me throughout my legal career and into my work with business owners.
Over time, I realised that many of the challenges business owners face aren’t isolated problems. A contract issue may actually point to a relationship problem. A hiring decision may expose a structural gap. Rapid growth may reveal that the business was never built for the level it is now operating at. That is why my approach is different.
I don’t believe in looking at business decisions in isolation. I look at the bigger picture, the structure, relationships, risks, opportunities and decisions that shape the business over time.
